About the Event
"Sentenced" is a documentary about the consequences of childhood illiteracy, narrated by basketball legend, Steph Curry.
A startling number of children and adults in the U.S. today can't read, and the consequences of childhood illiteracy are devastating. "Sentenced" is a tender yet forceful tale of how literacy can free children from the cycle of generational poverty.
The Executive Producer is Lucy Martin of Children's Literacy Project. The film is co-produced by Steph and Ayesha Curry.
