A lifelong resident of Sonoma County, Sylvia Lemus was raised in Southwest Santa Rosa and has lived in Cotati for 19 years. She retired in 2022 with nearly 34 years of public service, specializing in human resources and communications for the County of Sonoma.
Sylvia is invested in the community through her active participation in numerous community organizations and boards. She currently serves on the boards of Sonoma Clean Power, Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, Cinco De Mayo Santa Rosa, Sonoma Speedway Children’s Charity, and has served on others. She’s a founding board member of Los Cien Sonoma County. Sylvia is also an entrepreneur with a family wine business launched in 2020.
